DarkoverCon Esoteric Track

Sponsored by Ecumenicon Fellowship and the Order of St. Michael

The Esoteric Track at DarkoverCon was established more than 10 years ago to give an opportunity for people to talk about the "real-world" religions and techniques behind magick and energy work in SF and Fantasy. Ecumenicon and the Order of St. Michael have shared responsibility for this program and always offer classes from several religious perspectives. The theme of DarkoverCon 34 this year is Fibonacci (the numeric series that makes spirals where each step is the sum of the two steps that have come before). This is a magical number as the Fibonacci series is the ratio of the sides of a 5-pointed star, sacred to the Magi as the Star of Bethlehem, to Judaism and Islam as the Star of Solomon, and to Western Witchcraft as the Star of the Witches, and to astrologers as the path of Venus.
